Yield performance of Sorghum Ratoon-1 as affected by different dosages of N fertilization

Abstract Sorghum ( bicolor (L.)Moench) is a promising crop for the production of food, feed and bioethanol. plants also can grow in different wide ranges soil, they be ratooned. A field trial was conducted to study response cultivars sorghum ratoon-1 dosages N fertilization applied on first-planted plants. The experiment done Way lima, Pesawaran Lampung Province, Indonesia, 2020. Treatments were arranged factorially randomized block design with three replications. first factor genotypes, including Numbu, P/I WHP, GH-1, GH-6, Talaga Bodas, UPCA, Super-1, Super-2, while second levels consisting 0, 75, 150, 225 300 kg Urea/ha. planted row spacing 80x20 cm. Fertilizers used urea, SP-36, KCl, cattle manure. fertilizers plants, so not fertilized. result indicated that genotypes responded differently fertilization. highest grain yield found at Bodas (32.75 g/plant), lowest 23,96 g/panicle, GH-6 genotype. difference most likely due sizes numbers grains. On other side, did show significant differences ratoon-1.
